The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap). Please call your Mercedes dealer to confirmĀ if you have this option.Ā If youĀ donātĀ have it, you will needĀ TI1349-00Ā orĀ TI1527-00.Ā We recommend TI1527-00 as it also reprograms your Miles to Empty reading.
When using the auxiliary fuel tap on stock tanks, tap stops pulling fuel around 1/4 tank. With the S&B Tank, it will stop pulling fuel around 1/3-1/2 tank.
