This system is designed for the customer that keeps their truck on the road with an eye for quality and appreciation for bang-for-their-buck. Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0ā³ Diameter, Internal Reservoir shocks, weāve developed a tune that delivers all-around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, and towing/hauling. The 2.5ā lift height doesnāt require the front or rear geometry correction of our 3ā Systems.
At the heart of this system is a 2.5ā lift, Linear Rate Coil Spring paired to matched travel mono-tube, internal reservoir, Carli SPEC 2.0. These shocks boast 6063 Aluminum construction, anodized body for corrosion resistance, 5/8ā³ hardened steel chrome plated shaft, full serviceability & rebuildability and are built with 1-peice bushings in the 6061 billet rod-ends. These shocks are specād with a premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping and the widest available range in temperature variation. We back these with a 1-year warranty, serviced by Carli.Ā
In 2019, Ram lowered the rear of the 3500 trucks ā for this reason, weāre now providing a 1ā³ Billet Block and U-Bolts to fit the larger AAM 12ā³ Axle (4.25ā³ Axle Tubes). As the rear springs remain unmodified aside from the lift block, load capacity is maintained while predictability is improved. For those that arenāt looking for massive increase in travel or big shocks but still desire a level stance and improved ride quality and handling characteristics, this is the perfect kit. The 2.5ā lift height doesnāt require the geometry correction of our 3ā Systems.
The front axle will be slightly pulled to the Driverās side following installation of the lift; this can be corrected with the addition of our Adjustable Track Bar. Further, ride quality can be substantially increased with the addition of our Torsion Sway Bar. We recommend a 35ā tire on a wheel thatās no more than 9ā wide with 5.5ā-6ā Backspace. An 18ā diameter wheel will be best to ensure optimal ride quality (more rubber = better small bump compliance) and an unloaded tire pressure of 45F/40R is recommended. The addition of a Carli Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer is recommended for any tire over factory size.
**This system will NOT be upgradeable to any other Carli Suspension Systems.**Ā Itās designed to be a solution for customers wanting a quality system with minimal lift and part inclusion. We recommend slight eccentric bolt compensation to correct caster after the lift as there are no Radius Arm Drops. For this reason, customers may experience a slight bow in the coil spring. We did not experience a coil bow in any of our test trucks but itās possible at the 2.5ā lift height without a Radius Arm Drop Bracket.
This system is NOT compatible with trucks equipped with the factoryĀ auto-leveling air assist.
