AEV Conversions | Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 WInch Mount
AEV’s Winch Mount for the 2017-20 Colorado ZR2 is the perfect solution for owners looking for a way to securely add a winch to the front end of their truck without having to upgrade their OEM front bumper. This Winch Mount fits entirely underneath the ZR2’s front fascia without interfering with the factory tow hooks and was designed to safely accommodate Warn’s 9.5XP-S and Zeon 10-S winches on both gas and diesel applications. AEV even designed the included, ZR2-specific CNC aluminum hawse fairlead specifically for this application to provide the best overall fit and finish.
For more flexibility when installing your winch, AEV also developed an optional ZR2-specific Warn Solenoid Mounting Kit. This kit relocates the winch’s solenoid pack remotely, underneath the hood where it is more accessible to the user and better protected from the elements. This kit includes an extended length wiring harness to make hooking up your winch quick and painless, without having to modify your existing harness. This kit is required for the installation of the Warn Zeon 10-S.
An optional License Plate Bracket is also available for customers who live in a State that requires a front license plate. This bracket was designed to fit as tight as possible to the ZR2’s front skid plate and sit below the fairlead, so it does not need to be removed prior to using your winch.
Please Note: AEV’s Winch Mount/Fairlead is intended to be used only with a synthetic winch line. NOT compatible with front tow bar systems and WILL NOT work with any size body lift.
